Came here based off the reviews with high expectations but boy was I wrong. First off its extremely americanized asian food. We ordered the curry noodle and clay pot rice. The curry noodles were so watered down with barely any flavor and some weird crunchy tofu sheets. The clay pot rice was a huge disappointment. It was fried rice in a pot. Not even close to the real thing other than being in a clay pot. You order through a machine and make your own water, grab your own utensils and your own condiments. At least the place was clean and service was pretty fast. Food was extremely underwhelming.

My wife and I dine out a lot, and in an effort to expand our culinary horizons, we went to Veggie Village. Now, I'm usually not a big fan of vegan food, but I am of Asian so I was willing to give it a try. Looking at their website, the food looked so appetizing vegan or not, and looks were not deceiving. Everything was delicious. The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly in helping us make our selections. I chose the #36 stir-fried flat noodles with soy shrimp, tofu, mushrooms, and bok choy in a creamy white sauce. My wife tried the #60 or Vietnamese Pho with soy shrimp instead of beef it was very fragrant and delicate with the purple mint and fresh basil she also chose to add the dumplings it was quite good. The owner was very nice and brought us a complimentary serving of their Rojak Malaysian fruit salad, which was very flavorful and refreshing the salad consisting of mango, pineapple, jicama, cucumber, peanut, and crunchy noodles in a sweet and tangy dressing. It was really a nice experience, and we will return and bring our sometimes vegan/vegetarian kids who will appreciate it as we did.

It was my first visit. They have a big restaurant front, with a large vegan/vegetarian menu (100% meatless). The portions are generous for the reasonable pricing. They have great flavors! I forgot to take pictures of the dishes, but I enjoyed the hot and sour soup along with the General Tso's [dish].

Amazing food that’s all vegetarian! Walked in and first impressions was that it was charming and welcoming. We ordered the Spring Rolls, Roti Prata, Salt and Pepper Fish, General Tso Chicken, Chicken Clay Pot, and Pad Thai. Everything came out very promptly. While everything was yummy, the roti, the salt and pepper fish, and the chicken clay pot were standouts and favorites. The workers are so friendly as well and add to the very pleasant experience. Overall I loved visiting and would highly recommend!

Veggie Village is a wonderful restaurant. The food is extremely flavorful. We ordered the spring rolls, several tofu dishes, parata with curry, and a couple of noodle dishes. We were in a hurry, so they were kind enough to bring us the dishes as they were completed, so we could start eating prior to our flight. The service was incredible. This will definitely be a place where we will come to every trip to Phoenix. The accommodate so many of the dietary restrictions we have, such as vegan, dairy allergy, no onion or garlic (all of their food is made without onion or garlic). This restaurant is run by a family of Malayasian Buddhists, who are so kind. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Phoenix area.
