Blossom and Root Kitchen is a nice vegetarian restaurant overall. We tried the soup (3/5), the vegetarian burger, and the tofu bowl (both 4/5). The food was good, but we felt a bit heavy afterward from the mix of tofu, beans, and other ingredients. The staff was really friendly, though a bit disorganized. I think it would help if they explained the vegetarian options more, especially for people who aren't used to them—it was tough for us to choose. I also think they could add some lighter options like veggie patties or fries, but that’s up to the chef, and we respect that. It’s a cool concept, and we hope they stick around and keep promoting vegetarian food, even if we weren’t completely wowed this time.

Blossom & Root Kitchen is a restaurant that can be enjoyed by plant based and non plant based eaters alike! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was so unique and cheerful, and the staff were so welcoming & pleasant! The Brentwood Corn Chowder was amazing! So flavorful!! We had potato salad as a side with the crab cake sandwich, and it was also delicious! The crab cake sandwich was also good, but the chowder and our side were our favorites. It’s great to go out and be treated so well! Good customer service seems like a thing of the past, but not here! The staff seemed genuinely interested & proud of the food that is served here. We will be back!! So thankful to have a plant based restaurant that we can enjoy in our area!

The Thanksgiving meal was awesome. Ordering was easy and communication was good. We ordered the green beans, stuffing, potatoes and gravy. It didn't look like a lot of food when we picked it up but there was plenty for 4 people. Flavors were amazing and the ease of just heating up was what we needed having 2 small kids. I hope B & R offer more holiday meals in the future.

Wow! Everything we tasted during our first visit to Blossom and Root Kitchen was so delicious! The seasonal cocktail and mocktail we tried were beautiful, well balanced, and expertly prepared. We paired these with the Braised Romano Beans starter which are served in a rich, slow cooked tomato base with a bit of spice, and topped with crispy onions and almond dukkah. I could easily just eat that as a main- it was so flavorful! For mains, my husband enjoyed the Kale Radiatorre Pasta while I had the Mushroom Steak Salad. This was a colorful, crunchy, farmer's market fresh plate with add ons like watermelon radish, shaved fennel, fried onions and heirloom tomatoes which made it really special. Add the optional Climax 'bleu cheese.' It's fantastic! Our server, Joe, was personable, helpful, and attentive to our needs. I can't wait for our next visit!

I've been waiting for this restaurant to open for a very long time. Even though the menu was limited, everything we had was delicious. The lemon slice fritters were wonderful!. The poke bowl had too much rice yet it was very tasty. A lot more dishes to try and will be back again. The service was very good too. This is like the Wildseed (a vegan restaurant in San Francisco and Palo Alto) of the east bay. My second time here and it was Swiss chef Kamber making his favorite dishes. This time we ordered almost everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. Don't miss out on the Swiss fare. The three course option was filling as the food was very rich. Third time for lunch. This place keeps their menu fresh for a Saturday brunch. Their mocktails are also very refreshing. Nothing to not like in this place. Their tofu scramble was amazing.
