The food was fantastic! We had the shrooms, salad, garlic fries, the BAD MOTORFINGER pizza and for dessert the Mexican chocolate chili pie. Everything was great. The pizza was one of the BEST plant-based pizzas I have had in Los Angeles. Usually I skip the dessert but I'm glad I had dessert here. It was really tasty. I'll be back to try more options from the menu. I took off 1 star because the service was extremely slow on the Sunday of Labour Day long weekend that I went there. However the staff were really nice. I'll definitely go back to try more food from the menu.

The Chicken Fried Shrooms have so much flavor, chew and light crunch that your taste buds will thank you as they will for the vast majority of everything offered, prepared and served. Being a 100% plant-based vegan eatery specializing in Italian style cuisine makes for quite the unique spot. Great selection of wine and craft brew (beer, cider, kombucha) plus all the non-abv beverage musts such as coffees, teas, orange juice, lemonade, Boylan sodas, non-alcoholic beer, still water, sparkling water, and a sparkling mixer... Brunch is amazing, but dinner is just as special. Five star service every time with nothing but kindness, good vibes, warm naturally lit earthy decor making for a destination must for any and all who enjoy quality dining. We went here for the dinela weekend brunch and it was a really great deal, $15 for a mimosa and 1 entree. We got a spanish tortilla and mushroom biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were really good and plated nicely. The crispy mushrooms were the highlight as they have a light yet very flavorful crispy coating on the outside and umami chewy mushroom on the inside. Without the dinela discount, it's a but pricier but still worth it.

Always saw this place when driving by and never really gave it a 2nd thought. This is your sign to visit Donna Jean! Some of the best vegan food I've ever tried and it's in the San Fernando Valley! Hands down my favorite thing here is the Hot Shrooms. Eaten fresh, one of the best eating experiences I've had. That first bite through the crispy exterior into the mushroom honestly made me forget it was vegan. You could probably even make your own vegan chicken sandwich using 2 slices of bread! The pizzas are also amazing and wish I had the stomach capacity to try them all. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant.

Parking Found street parking but it’s difficult since it’s a major street and right off the freeway exit via Woodman ave Service It was a bit slow, considering the place wasn’t packed but friendly overall and a nice experience Food The MOTHERLOAD a nice combo plate to try other items in one; the tofu scramble, za’atar potatoes and biscuits were awesome. The HOT SHROOMS were awesome wish we got the house made bread but we didn’t 🤨 The REALLY GOOD SALAD was nice only wish was it was a bit colder to give it a refreshing kick Definitely down to try the pasta and pizza. It seems like majority of people dining. We’re getting the pizza. Ambience was nice and clean from the bathrooms to the overall restaurant dishes are picked up pretty quickly and tables are cleaned
