Visited Shine Cafe and found it to be just okay. The food was pretty average – I tried the TLT and a bagel, and while they were both edible, neither had much flavor to speak of. It felt like something was missing that could have made the dishes stand out. The atmosphere didn’t help either; none of the staff seemed particularly enthusiastic, which took away from the overall vibe. Overall, it’s an acceptable spot if you’re in a pinch, but there’s nothing here that would make me rush back.

Great vibe. Food is wonderful. The Tempe Rueben and spring rolls are amazing. Everything tastes very fresh. Friendly service and excellent atmosphere. Will be back!!

Incredible, incredible, incredible! On holiday and for me, trying to find a good vegan meal is like searching for the Holy Grail! And boy did the tempeh tacos deliver! Literally can't get any fresher veggies, which were piled higher that Bishop's peak (locals will appreciate the reference)! It was 20 minutes of enjoying all the yummy veggies and then was like oh yeah, have discovered the tempeh tacos finally! Not a criticism but just pointing out how big of a serve they give you. I desperately want to go back but live very far out of town. If I were a local, this eatery would quickly become one of my regular go-to spots!

Must-eat for vegan people! I came here for lunch a couple of days ago and it was so good that I came back the next day 🤩 This is a great spot for wholesome and healthy food. The portions are generous and packed with tasty veggies. Everything is plant-based and the prices are reasonable 😊

We ordered the tempeh tacos, black bean tostada, jackfruit carnitas street tacos, t.l.t., Asian slaw salad and spring rolls. The Asian salad was drenched in dressing, way too much. The spring rolls fell apart so easily. Maybe they should be double wrapped. The tacos lacked flavor or some seasoning. The only dish that was finished was the t.l.t. Disappointing meals. FYI any order over $80 has a 20% additional surcharge. So the meal came out to almost $120 for 4 people and 3 drinks. Not worth it.
