El Cantaro Vegan Taqueria

Love that this place does vegan Mexican food!!!! And they do it really well. Tasty and great portion. Only thing we didn’t really like was the nopales taco which was a bit boring. The cactus could be better seasoned or cooked differently- just tasted like cactus straight from the can with no preparation.

Delicious! I was worried about the taste but it did not disappoint! Very flavorful, they didn’t skimp-we got nice big portions. Very filling, was full after eating half my plate. The smoothies were good too, not too sweet just the way I like it. The best part was that everything was organic. Wonderful place to come have lunch or dinner. Definitely will return.

Absolutely the best Mexican Vegan food I've had in the last 13-14yrs!! The flavors are ALL on point!! So good, I'll probably dream about these Taco's tonight!! Everyone needs to try this place!

The food is really amazing, we got the Birria and enchiladas and it was very flavorful! The people are also very nice. If you love Mexican food and want the added bonus of it being plant based I would definitely go!

Incredible vegan taqueria! What a jem. Instead of hitting the road early for our 6 hour drive back home, we stayed later at our Airbnb just to try this highly recommended place when they opened at 11am. WORTH IT! My husband has been craving birria since we went vegan earlier this year, and the quesabirria burrito was outstanding. I got the chile relleno plate which was also fantastic. Got the corn tortillas that come with it, they're made fresh in house and SO good! And both dishes were a lot of food. Very filling. We're gonna plan another Sacramento trip just to eat here again.
