Sitting on the toilet writing this review out, the chik’n chicharron & rice/beans I got didn’t mix with my stomach well unfortunately. I know it’s vegan food but the food tasted so bland to me. The plantains were fine but they gave me such small ones, I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.

My honey and I are starting this plant based, healthy eating. We began by doing a full body cleanse for two weeks which required supplements and raw vegan eating. We were soooo ready to have a cooked meal and that's when we found Javier's place. We didn't have to give up eating Puerto Rican food! To start, we had lentil empanadas. Delish! My honey had the plant based chicharones with rice n beans! I had the plant based beefless mofongo! Talk about the flavors. OMG! We had the dairy free Tres Leches for dessert. OMG again! Javier also gave us a lesson on cooking with Jack fruit.Priceless. Thank you!

We went with our family since we had never had vegan Puerto Rican food. Everything was delicious! The staff was very kind and helpful when asking what we should order. Our favorite were hands down, the empanadas! We look forward to coming back to try other things from the menu.

Mad about the mofongo! The cubano was weak I was surprised it was on a normal hoagie roll kind of like a hotdog bun. The mustard was good. My partner had the chimichuri steak sandwich and she thought it was kinda bland. That mofongo saved the day. Service was great and interior was clean.

This restaurant offers a variety of vegan Puerto Rician comfort food. Based on the review's, I ordered a variety of empanadas. They were all cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the chicken empanada it was my personal favorite. The vegan desert options were mostly sold out, the tres leches cake was good, a little bit over powering with the cinnamon flavor, the texture and cake itself is delicious. This place is clean, very well kept, has a lovely, trendy vibe. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.
