HaleLife Bistro

We got a few shareable dishes and everything came out fresh and nicely prepared. The service was great and the place was kept up with very well. This was our second time visiting and both times we were impressed by the quality of food. The staff answered all of our questions and were very transparent with everything. Great options for gluten free and vegan dishes. The coffee was great too. We also took some deserts to go. I Highly recommend this place.

Ordered a pre-made cake for a birthday, and this was sadly the driest cake I have ever eaten. We ordered a birthday cake from HaleLife a couple years ago, and it was absolute heaven. So, got another cake today expecting the same quality. What a letdown. Picture added to show just how dry it is. We have had a lot of food from HaleLife, and it has always been excellent. Not sure what happened here. Edit: Thanks to the person who responded. Just to add, the cake was ordered on a Wednesday and already thawed prior to pickup, the process initiated Wednesday (per the employee I spoke with). There was also marks on the label with the pickup date and indicating the cake was to be thawed prior to pickup. The cake was picked up Friday afternoon, so I was under the understanding that the cake had already been given sufficient time to thaw. There were also at least three hours between time of pickup and when the cake was cut and eaten, during which it remained on a table, not in a fridge. Nothing tasted cold or frozen, unfortunately just dry. Thanks again for your response.

We filled a freezer with goods to take home and enjoy! We have no gluten free options where we live, so I’m so excited to try all of these delicious gf goodies!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I’ve been craving a sweet treat for like 6 weeks and found this place. The presentation of them was better than the taste. Felt like the Brookie & Chocolate Lava brownie was on the bland side. I gave the overall review 5 stars because I like to support local vegan spots. It’s worth a try! Perhaps you’ll enjoy it more than me! I’d try it again - just something different.

Very cute place that has vegan and gluten free food and bakery items. The food is very tasty and creative. Staff is always friendly. While I know it is extremely difficult to make it in the food business these days, my one complaint has to be the prices. I'll still come back for sure though!
