If you're looking for a groundbreaking dining experience, well, keep looking. But if you want a solid, sweet-and-salty breakfast fix, this place has your back. Sure, the food isn’t going to win any culinary awards, but it hits the spot. Plus, they serve it up with a smile so warm, you half expect them to slip you a key to the family home. The place was spotless too—always a bonus when you're diving into a stack of waffles. Now, about the drinks: despite the flashy promises on their website, all they had was water. So if you're planning on washing down your breakfast panini with anything other than H2O, bring a thermos. But hey, if you like your breakfast old-school American, with just the right mix of sweet and salty, this spot will do the trick. Just don’t come thirsty.

Needs to add Lofi and more Afro beats music to playlist . I had breakfasts and dinner! The Lulo juice is amazing!! I couldn’t believe there wasn’t an ounce of meat! I had the Mini Me’s with the strawberry guava sauce! Mmmm! A hint of spice with sweetnesssss. My husband had the Big Mama and she was BIG. It was beautifully assembled from the colors, all the way to the taste! They have a juke box! Omg that was the best thing to have . We also had the Mob Ties and the Baby Hulk . Their Italian sausage take was very good and the chickpea on toast was refreshing. Ill definitely be back!

The food quality was excellent. 5 out of 5 stars. The girl working (probably the owner, since it's a smaller establishment) was very sweet and attentive. Until.. A few people came in after me. It was slow when I walked in, but it started picking up around 8-9 pm. The girl couldn't manage everything herself. My food was ready in about an hour. I wish this wasn't the case, and I could say that everything was 5 stars, but it just wasn't. And while the establishment was clean, it was quite literally a hole in the wall style place. The exterior especially needs a major renovation. Her health department score wasn't visible, which was worrisome to me. But she seemed clean and the food was well made, so I'll keep my complaints to just that. Be prepared to wait quite a while, don't expect much from the interior in terms of ambiance (good music, though), and enjoy your food because it definitely tasted good. All 4 of us in our party enjoyed the food (at home). I'll order in advance the next time and just pick it up.

I went here back in May while in town. I cannot remember the name of this wrap but I had it, a bag of chips and ONE little glass of whatever mixed drink the owner surprised me with. I’m not a drinker, and was only in there because I wanted to patronize as many black owned businesses as possible while I was there. I ate, and waited for my bill, which I ended up having to just go to the counter. When I got up there to go pay it, this girl (the opener) tells me my total is 37 bucks! When I asked why, as my meal had only come out to a little over 15 bucks, she stated it was because of the drink! But who charges that much for a drink though? LOL it was a short glass with all of 6 sips in it. Smh I’d like to note, anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that not only do I never have a problem with paying but also have no issues with leaving a tip. ESPECIALLY for my own! But, the girl straight up GAUGED! Idk if the light bill was due or what but she was dead wrong! Charged me almost forty bucks as if I hadn’t basically gotten a vegan kids meal. Lol I’ll never go back and wouldn’t encourage anyone else to. I’d of expected behavior like this from a lesser being, but certainly not someone who looks as if she could my darn sister! Smh The food was okay, but because her actions disappointed me so bad I’ll never go again! Like I really only went to support a small black owned business and that being the thanks I got is crazy to me. Smh she’ll never get me again though.

Great options of hot and cold sandwiches. We had the famous Mr. Miyagi (hot sub) and Best Life (cold warp). Also tried the purple haze salad. All food items came in generous portions!! The sub had a nice flavorful green sauce. Would recommend it without the very sweet teriyaki to taste more of the sandwich. Chef Nova who works there was lovely, full of energy and really knew about the menu and diet restrictions. My husband cannot have refined sugar and she knew which ingredients to avoid.
