VeGreen Vegan Fusion Restaurant

What a wonderful place. I just started practicing veganism a few months ago and this is my favorite spot to eat at. Great food great service. Dine in or carry out you will be happy. Nice portions and affordable lunch specials. Highly recommended

Definitely a good spot if you wanna eat Asian-inspired flavors but vegan dishes. They’re running an awesome BOGO drink deal for October so my friend got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and I had the strawberry-flavored Afternoon Refresher, both with adjustable sweetness. We started with the Roti Canai (delicious coconut flavor!) and had the Black Truffle Fried Rice *cool-looking pyramid and Veggie Pepper Steak for mains. The Truffle Rice was huge and perfectly seasoned, while the Pepper Steak on a sizzling hotplate had that “meaty” taste without any actual meat. The server was very helpful, helping us understand and pick perfect menu for us. I really enjoyed the side menu, Mushroom melody, which has stir-fried lotus roots, mushrooms, and mixed veggies. For dessert, we shared the Vegan Hummingbird Cake. I wanna try diff menu like noodle and curry next time.

The food was fantastic! My friend and I really enjoyed our meals. The soup dumplings were so good, and since I’ve been pescatarian for a while I was worried I’d never get to try any. So this was a really good experience for me. The meal was perfect. As for the service, it wasn’t the best. Our male waiter at times seemed irritated with us, and asked me if I was going to get a dessert in a seemingly aggravated tone. (We asked to keep the menu to decide while we ate). At first, I wasn’t sure if I was imagining it, so I didn’t address it but then my friend commented on it as we left. The staff also kept repeatedly asking us if we were okay. But it just made us feel rushed (it was early afternoon, nowhere near closing and we were there less than 2hrs). It just wasn’t a good feeling, and since it was just the two of us sitting off to the side as opposed to the other tables of 3+ people, it really made them rushing us seem odd. Overall, don’t hate the place. But I’m not sure what’s up with the waiter we had so we’ll just mentally prepare the next time we decide to visit, or ask to sit elsewhere to avoid him.

I had an amazing experience! It was exactly the type of restaurant I was looking for. It’s all vegan and they have a large gluten free menu. I went for lunch and the lunch set menu is large with many options. To get a spring roll, 4 piece sushi, and a lunch serving entree with protein and rice for $11 is crazy good value. I was so full and happy. If I lived closer I would come back all the time. I highly recommend!!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean. Parking is easy. The boba and dessert are yummy. If you’re in the area definitely go!!!

Well, it’s a no for me! I recently became vegetarian this year and was sent to VeGreen by a friend, this place came highly recommended but that was not the experience I received. I didnt know what to order, but decided that Veggie Fried Rice would be a safe choose and received a to go plate full of fried rice and onions. I had to go home and cook. We went in around 7:45 and were told that we could not dine in, so we placed a to-go order. The service seemed very rushed and they were turning people away at the door at 8pm when the sign clearly says that they close at 8:30pm ( change your hours ). I called to let them know how this satisfied I was with my meal, and was told by a young lady that they pre-measure the vegetables and if we want extra vegetables, we would have to pay an additional two dollars…..So with that being said, I do not forsee a return visit to this resturant. $14 for a bowl of rice is extreme.
