Try It Raw

Raw tacos, hand roll, and lentil soup from Try It Raw in Birmingham 💚 All vegan, raw plant-based cafe. Definitely different from the usual foods I get, but there is no lacking in flavor! The collard green wraps provide great crunch and the food is super filling. They also provide raw desserts like coconut macarons and smoothies!

I’ve been coming here for years, cute little cafe offering plant based vegan food. Everything is delicious and so creative! The small dining area doesn’t seat many so you may have to get carry out during busy times for lack of seating. I highly recommend the nachos! The only thing I would change is that my cayenne lemonade came after my two entrees came out, it didn’t bother me but it would be nice to be served my drink while I wait for food. Otherwise perfect service and amazing food!

Great spot for healthy and nutritious food. Really high quality dishes, friendly staff and small but cozy seating area. I highly recommend anyone to visit!

I was so grateful to find this wonderful restaurant while traveling for work. Absolutely AMAZING food! I ordered the tacos, Thai coconut water, and cheesecake of the day (blueberry that day). So delicious and I plan to return again before I leave. The service was excellent and kind. Atmosphere was so nice and relaxing after a long day. Thank you for a spectacular meal!

What a great restaurant this is. It was exactly what we were craving when we came here: fresh vegan food. It's great too because after eating this type of food, you don't feel blah after, like you would eating deep fried foods. The atmosphere is nice too for a small place. 3 tables inside which was perfect. Service was excellent. They explained each thing clearly to us. The food was incredible. We opted for the Saturday special, which was a delicious burger and coleslaw on the side. We also had the tacos, which were incredible as well. My son had a cucumber sushi roll which seemed to be a hit as well. All in all, a fantastic spot for some feel-good vegan food. For dessert, the lime cheesecake was top-notch too as was the chocolate banana shake. No ragrets. 5/5.
