Curiosi-Tea House

This place should be incredibly busy! Everything on the menu is incredible, it’s the cutest little shop I’ve ever seen and the owners are incredibly kind. I don’t expect soups from cafes to be all that great but the curried cauliflower was incredibly spiced, the BLT was awesome and fresh. Everything is vegan and you’d never even miss animal products and the price for an all you can drink tea is unbeatable.

Overall highly recommend. Only thing is that I wish they also sold cold juices and drinks like kombucha. Very kid friendly! Stools to reach sinks in the bathrooms, comfortable diaper changing tables, toys and games, and a toy kitchen area just for kids. Adult and kids books available. I don't have children but if I did, this seems like a good place to go! Accessible: flat flooring, multiple doors, wide hallways, spacious bathrooms. And staff very kindly deliver tea and other items to your table. Generally pretty quiet inside as well, not overwhelming. Quirky and homey atmosphere. There is a nook with a Japanese tatami woven grass mat, a low tea table, and pillows for sitting, if you want to try a new way to drink tea. There's a tea bar some days. Tea shop with lots of options, including good literature on tea or local history. Less food options. They serve vegan desserts and snacks, the few I've tried are very good, but if vegan isn't someone's cup of tea (lol) those are the only options. If you have dietary restrictions that benefit from vegan, probably a good place! Prices are extremely reasonable and there are many ways to doctor your tea to your preference. They have boba / bubble tea add ons as well, but not Asian-style boba tea. Free wifi and nice place to set up and work for awhile. Tons of parking as well.

I am a knuckle dragging, tattooed, blunt talking dude with a broken filter. I guard my dinner plate with elbows on the table. I also like weird unique stuff (check my reviews) This place is my jam. I go here and pick out a fancy lil pot, cup, and saucer for some fancy tea. Then I stare at a weird vegan menu wishing I could get at least a BLT on fancy bread. THEN the tea is ready. I go grab some super yummy honey and healthy natural sugar and drink some tea. I can be fancy too!

It is perfect gluten-free and vegan foods! So nice to have a place to go that understands those needs. As well as a fun atmosphere. Very welcoming staff! The owner is so very knowledgeable about her teas as well. We will be back for the Spring tasting for sure!!

What a gem! We stopped here on the way from St. Paul to Sioux Falls for lunch. They have lots of vegetarian options which is not very common. They have every kind of hot tea in existence and about 4 kinds each day of iced tea, always including some caffeinated and some decaf. The outdoor seating area is perfect with shade and plenty of space. Gender neutral bathrooms to boot!
