Had a great experience upon my very first visit. Atmosphere, food, upcoming artist, and patrons were on point. Try the Lauren Hill bowl, Warm cookies and Redman sangria Mocktail. Honorable mention goes to the vegan merlot, the burger. Just awesome. Kudos to the owner/staff.

Wanted to find vegan breakfast spot for my wife before heading to catch our train in Newark. It was spacious and cozy with a personal feel to it. Every part of my breakfast tasted fantastic and was very fresh. Can't recommend enough if you're in the area.

Awesome little vegan joint in Newark NJ! Super tasty paninis and competitive pricing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the ability to order in advance by phone is a huge plus. Definitely stop by if you’re ever at the prudential center or in DT Newark! 10/10

On our way back to harlem, we googled & stumbled upon this little gem in the hood. Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. We will definitely stop here on our way to and from NY more often. *** I see some reviews talking about the area *** We are from Queens/Brooklyn/Detroit and its like any inner city neighborhood. There is a police station one block up with plenty of police presence on the street. Never felt unsafe and the people were friendly, but then again I grew up in the hood so this feels like home to me.

As a person who wants to support black owned healthy businesses. My experience the last two times was extremely disappointing. I’ve been the only customer the last two times I’m there. The last time I had a meeting with my manager and the owner had the music so loud it sounded as if I was in a night club, which was embarrassing. I get it’s not a coffee shop, but had no idea that that was the vibe. The second time I walk in, it’s quiet, except there are multiple children under the age of 7 in the kitchen with the owner, sure that’s not legal. I’m again the only customer and mid meeting she starts blasting the music, I ask her kindly to turn it down and she rudely said she needs it to work. No one greeted me as I walked in either. I asked for wifi, and she claims she has no password. The place is expensive, but the food has always been okay. It’s okay to get food to go there. But don’t be fooled it’s ghetto. 🤷🏽‍♀️. Girl give it up. You’re not professional. Your hours change constantly, and aren’t ever in real time, I’ve purchased from you almost every time I visited. And yes kids behind a kitchen counter is illegal. Be happy no one reported your business.
