The Gentle Giant Cafe

Very cute little place - this is the second time we’ve stopped by! We came in towards closing, the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The food is unbelievable - as a fussy vegetarian, I usually struggle to find things I like, but I was spoilt for choice here. They also made a custom iced coffee and it was definitely the best coffee I’ve ever had!

Oh. My. Goodness! A pork roll vegan sandwich?! Chickpea salad sandwich (“toona”)?! And a kids menu for my vegan kid? Wow!! Everything was great. Great value, too! Great portions. You’ll leave full! They also have peanut butter cup cookie dessert things which were heavenly. And they have YUM earth candy, which is nice instead of the candy with all the colorings and dyes, so I let my child choose two 🙈 and they have CHOMP peanut butter cups and chocolate bars !

I had the most lovely and delicious first visit with this all plant-based cafe. The women who helped me with my order were very welcoming and didn’t miss a beat offering me recommendations that were also safe for someone gluten sensitive. The egg Sammie with sausage patty and cheez (and GF bagel) was literally finger licking good. Great service and delicious meal. And those salt and pepper collectibles on the tables were a perfect touch! So glad I’ve found you TGGC

I just so happened to stumble across this while in Pitman, let me just say there take on a "Vegan" Pork Roll Egg & Cheese was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Job well done! I haven't had a pork roll in years, which is a true "Jersey" staple! This sandwich was Delicious! Try it for yourself, you'll see😊 I'll definitely be back! Thank you Ladies💜

Cute place with delicious vegan offerings. The vegan breakfast bagel (I opted for the pretzel roll) with pork-roll and tofu egg was incredible. The vegan lox and cream cheese was delightful as well. Oh, and the hash brown (side item) was perfect.
