Foster the Plant Cafe

A vegan restaurant with quite a few options. I am not vegan so this was something different for me. I enjoyed my French toast. Also has a nice selection of cold bottled drinks. An interesting atmosphere with some murals on the wall and local art for sale.

Delicious! Fantastic vegan dishes at reasonable prices. We enjoyed a couple of the wraps and highly recommend the buffalo tofu wrap. You've got to give this place a try!

Hands down best vegan food in upstate New York! Thank you Foster the plant Cafe for all your loving care and attention to detail creating wonderful clean food options for those who eat a certain way. Very clean, amazing atmosphere, gorgeous interior and wonderful service! I have a lot of food sensitivities and love coming here every time I can because the food is delicious, fresh and it always gives me energy especially when i'm not feeling well! It's nice being able to order what I want and knowing Ill feel good afterwards!

We have seen this restaurant over the past several months and weren't quite sure what it was. Today we finally stopped. My husband was skeptical of the only vegan menu; to the point we considered taking him somewhere else for food afterwards. I, however, was excited! Not vegan, but health conscious for sure. He decided upon entering that he would try the Buffalo tofu wrap, and commented several times on how he was glad he tried it, and that tofu was amazing. Like, enjoyed it more than his usual buffalo chicken. I agreed. Tofu isn't always done well but Foster the Plant does it amazingly! The locally sourced veggieful salad with resomary balsamic was also incredible. Will most definitely be making this our Potsdam restaurant stop from here on out.
