Mike's Vegan Grill

Wow! If you're a vegan and want comfort food you have to come here!! The employees are very nice, helpful and the food was outstanding! The bun to shrimp ratio was just right. The sauce was delicious!! The fiesta fries were yummy too!

——The owners’ response to the review shows why I doubt much will improve. Defending a completely bad experience versus accepting feedback to improve your customers’ experience -is tough. I still wish you good luck! ——- I truly was looking forward to some great food going into the new year. Walked in. No one up front. Guy walks up and doesn’t greet me for a while. His apron and clothing looked like he had a long day- not clean at all . He finally asks me what I want. I wait for 20 minutes then get a text saying my food is ready. Didn’t get my food until 5 minutes after the text. The fries looked grey and soggy- and they were cold -Like they were sitting for quite some time.The seasoning on the fries tasted like nutmeg and cinnamon. It was not a good flavor! Opened my sandwich and the food was completely cold with grease all on the box and bags. Grease to the point that the bag had an off putting smell and I had to wipe my hands. The floors throughout the restaurant were sticky and gunky. This is my 2nd time here and my last. I just wanted some hot vegan food & decent customer service and I got an experience that reflects the lack of consistency, leadership, culture, food safety protocol, and lack of care for your customers. Looks like most reviews here are good so I guess this may have just been another bad day. But when a person pays for a service and experience- they should get far more than what I received today. I loved the flow of the restaurant. I enjoyed the variety of the menu and the food was great. My order was correct and came out swiftly . The employee at the register was very nice, patient, and helpful. The only negative would be the beyond patty on my burger. I'm just not a fan of that brand, but the way they dressed the burger was perfect! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Mike's Vegan is a wonderful place to eat. We often eat at the one in Greensboro but we were in Charlotte for the Nascar race and stopped by. Great food, great people and service. And like the wall says ' It all started with a food truck Absolutely awesome! Classico burger and BBQ sandwich with fries

I have to say it I was so nervous to try this vegan food. My friend is now vegan and is visiting from NY. We went here and he liked it very much. For me, it was different. We both ordered Philly cheese for me it was too saucy, and honestly, he also believed it would have been better with less sauce. But overall, the taste/flavor was really good. I'd definitely recommend trying this spot. The staff are great friendly and definitely can point u in the right direction.
