I had a great dining experience at Pure Vegan Cafe! I ordered the cauliflower wings with Asian sauce, BBQ jackfruit sandwich, and fries, and everything was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The flavors were incredible, and you could tell they really put care into their food. The fact that the entire menu is vegan is a huge plus, and they offer such a wide variety of items that it’s easy to find something for everyone. While we came for dinner, they also serve breakfast all day, which is a nice bonus. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu! Highly recommend for anyone—vegan or not! Best part is this is minority women owned business!

I’m a pescatarian that enjoys vegan food, and I was pretty impressed. I came here twice during my visit to Durham, NC. I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich with meat in it for a little over 4 years, and I would choose Pure Vegan Cafe’s southern comfort combo (with 2 sides included) over one with real meat and cheese. I also loved the uttapam (an independent dish) and the breakfast potatoes (available as a side to the southern comfort combo). The service is good and the atmosphere is nice. The cafe is pretty clean and they have some nice plants, which add to the enjoyment of eating here. I don’t have any food allergies, but if I did, they have a menu with nut-free and gluten-free options marked on it so I could still enjoy their food. Overall, I recommend this place.

This place looks very inviting and elegant inside. The food presentation was also awesome. However, the taste is a 2-3. The chnk wings texture was not good to me and I only ate one. The samosa was okay, nothing to order again. The only thing that was great 10/10 was the buffalo ranch fries

I don't understand how this place has good reviews. Y'all know that any Indian restaurant will happily make their (default vegetarian) food without dairy, right? I love all samosas, but these were the least-good in memory. My wife's chickpea masala was served with pita bread, not naan. Short-grain mushy white rice. My main course never came, which I was thankful for after seeing the food. Dukies - just because it's better than your cafeteria doesn't mean it's 5 stars. They have a 91.5 food safety rating, which looked about right from the dirty floors I could see.

Lovely full vegan menu cafe with excellent service and plenty of indoor seating. The menu has so many options, especially if you are into Indian food, and allergins are clearly labeled. The food was delicious, but the portions, in my opinion, were a bit small for the price especially compared to other similar cafes in the area. For that reason, the semi challenging parking if you're coming here during business hours, and the fact that the bathrooms needed a serious clean, I'm giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars.
