The Tin Thistle

Great vegan restaurant. Home made burger patties that are excellent. The garden patio was a great place to eat their excellent food. I had the fiesta burger and a blackberry smoothie. Both excellent. Later that day I came back for the tasty tropical pie. Update: went back the next day and got the teriyaki burger and mango smoothie and they were both excellent as well.

A nice little restaurant, very welcoming and fun art stuff. We had pasties which had potatoes, almost like a samosa. We also ordered a BBQ burger, great texture and flavor. The hot and sour soup was tasty as well, good texture.

If I could give the categories of food, service, and atmosphere more than five stars I would. I am from out of town and I would eat here every day! As a vegan, this was a haven. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was. The interior space is so well thought out and curated... It feels so homey as well as welcoming. They have some beautiful wall art that I really enjoyed looking at. That feeling just continues into the back garden outdoor area. We ate outside and it was truly incredible. I tried the vegan mac, a pumpkin cookie, as well as the BLAT. I would eat that sandwich everyday if I could!!! The bread was perfectly toasted and I devoured it all in just a few minutes. The mac and cheese was great but was even better with some hot sauce I added on the leftovers! The pumpkin cookie only lasted a few minutes. Friendly service and we only waited about 10 minutes for the food. Then again I could wait outside all day, that outdoor garden area is the best I've ever been to!!

I've been a fan of Tin Thistle for many years. Their food never disappoints me. Always delicious and fresh. And Paula is such a sweetheart! The dining room is large and accommodating with lovely artwork. The outdoor dining space is perfect on a sunny day. If I had to have a critique, it is that the dining room can be quite cold during the cooler seasons. Though to be fair, those old buildings with mile-high ceilings are a pain to heat! I'll still put on a jacket and go though, for another bowl of her mac n cheese!

High quality vegan food! Very fresh ingredients and too notch flavor on all of the dishes we got. We ordered the pasty (which is basically an Indian samosa!!), fiesta burger and Mac and cheese and the gyro. The fiesta burger was my favorite thing- so good. We also loved their outdoor garden patio in the back. This is a great place to stop for vegans and non vegans if you’re looking for a healthy meal with tons of flavor and a variety of options on the menu.
