I arrived 15 minutes before opening and the host was very kind and gave me a menu and water. I ordered the Phish tacos and I was blown away! Like the texture and flavors were so unbelievably on point, I couldn't believe the culinary delights I was experiencing. I took a Phish sandwich to go and when I arrived home, in Sugar Land, the sandwich was a revelation in flavor as well!! I'll be back and I'll tell more people about this fine establishment.

I love this place! First off, they are doing amazing work and spreading some beautiful and important messages into the world. It's a safe place for all with AMAZING food and dope vibes. I'm not even vegan but I crave their food all the time. This time, I got the jalapeno cornbread chikn n waffles, the banana brulee, and a side of Mac cause I gotta have their Mac Everytime. Their portions are great, I just had big back vibes at this time and took my leftovers home. Go check them out and support them, you won't be disappointed.

I have mixed feelings about Hash. First off, props to them for being one of the very few vegan restaurants in San Antonio. We need many more, in the interests of environmental sustainability and animal welfare. And I appreciate the owners being so focused on the community and helping others. They even have a cozy nook with board games and crayons for groups to hang out in. I appreciate that the restaurant encourages sobriety (from alcohol) and functions as a dry bar of sorts. Too bad it encourages recreational drug use. I appreciate that the restaurant is not overtly religious. Too bad it encourages superstition - there even appears to be some sort of psychic reading parlor or something in it. The decor is certainly unique. Now, as for the food: Mac & cheese: 10/10. I was really surprised and impressed. This may be the bet mac & cheese I've ever had, and usually vegan versions are disappointing. Chicken (fried cauliflower): 8/10. Better than I expected. It has an unusual aftertaste... I'm not sure what they do, but it reminds me of a well-toasted marshmallow somehow. The aftertaste did linger for hours. Peach waffles: 5/10. The toppings were good! The basic waffle itself was surprisingly chewy and a disappointment. Banana bread: 4/10. I have fond memories of chocolate chip banana bread growing up. This was nothing like that. It was kind of, I don't know, powdery? Just not good.

I really liked the cornbread with butter..that was really good! I didn't like the waffles at all. The workers here are super nice and attentive. I loved the vibe of the restaurant and would go back to try another plate.

Truly a hidden Gem! My husband and I enjoyed our date . The food was amazing it allowed us to rekindle with playing board games while waiting on our food . Rogelio the cashier made us feel right at home with such great customer service . The cook made sure the food was well served . We will for sure come back .
