Vegan A.F.

I recently ordered takeout from Vegan A.F. in Brattleboro, VT, and it was fantastic! The chorizo sliders were flavorful and perfectly spiced, with a delicious sauce that tied everything together. The pra ram tofu bowl was rich and satisfying—the tofu was crispy, and the creamy peanut sauce paired perfectly with the veggies and rice noodles.

This place is a true gem!! My boyfriend and I tried it and got hooked!! The flavors are colorful, warm, delish, truly crafted. I almost don’t want to give a review because then it will be crowded even more than they are and how will I greedily eat 😈

Such a great, unique experience! We sat on the deck overlooking the wooded stream, our dog at our feet. Lindsay was our server, and so full of energy and enthusiasm. Really enjoyed what she brought to our experience (until it got busier and we didn’t see her again after ordering.) We split the sweet potato app, and the pineapple/coconut drink (yum!) What lacked in volume was more than made up for in flavor. I got the peanut noodles, husband the meatloaf. We both loved our dishes (pup gives two paws up for the noodles.) Another waiter came by for our dessert order - vanilla cake - which took a strangely long time, but finally came (maybe 25 mins later.) Sadly without the birthday candle Lindsay had promised. Oh well. It was still a really lovely meal, worthy of the special occasion.

We’re in town for my birthday and having dinner at Vegan AF was on the list of things I was looking forward to! We arrived earlier than our reservations and were seated right away. Beautiful night so we sat at the bar outside on the deck. We started with the Garlic Parmesan Sweet Potato Rounds. Sweet, delicious, crispy, and great starter. Lindsay and Nick teamed up to provide us with top notch service for our entire visit. For our entrees we went with the Maple Chipotle Glazed Meatloaf and Pra Ram Tofu Bowl. Both were fantastic. I finished off with a slice of vanilla cake and a Vegan AF t shirt as a birthday souvenir. Thank you Vegan AF team for a wonderful birthday dinner!!

This place is a very welcome new addition. My wife and I stopped in for dinner and we were very pleasantly surprised. We're both vegan and it's so refreshing to visit someplace that concentrates on the quinine. Like Salt + Pepper Social in Newcastle ME Vegan AF is a first class dining experience that elevates food to something worth talking about. It's not just 'good vegan food" it's a great and surprising meal.
