Wayside Cafe and Deli

Everything I’ve had here is delicious. I absolutely love the whole menu and I’ve been visiting for about 2 years on my way down to Portland from Seattle. We really are lacking in good vegan food in Seattle so it’s nice to have a home style meal that is cooked with love while on the go. The packaging is eco friendly and the food is always hot and fresh! They also have drinks available to go. My long time favorite was the Dan Dan bowl but now I’m loving the mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and fried chicken, and I’m not even vegan but this is one of my favorite restaurants. Thank you for existing!

Really delicious vegan food and fun wall art. Bakery case is full of fun sweets with gluten free options. Definitely will visit again ☺️

Absolutely loved the rib platter and my husband really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich meal. The service was quick and the atmosphere is nice. The mashed potatoes and gravy are to die for. The menu is fully vegan and everything we've tried so far has been great.

For plant-base the food was very yummy. I had the “almost famous bowl” it was bit on the sweet side but good and my partner had the jackfruit with Mac N cheese they comment “wow it’s good”. We shared the bbq bites which were very flavorful and yummy. Parking was a a bit difficult to find if your not wanting to walk far. Rating the atmosphere & service when I came was a bit off , no one greeted but just stared I’m a working person myself and know how to make a environment feel welcome without doing to much even if my day is not going great, but I stayed and place this order cause I wanted to see if the reviews was worth the hype.

As someone with a soy allergy, this was an absolutely incredible experience. Everything was clearly labeled and the staff was knowledgeable with additional questions. Everything our group ordered was delicious and hearty. Wayside is a wonderful introduction to vegan cuisine and we look forward to visiting again!
