Twisted Plants

I used to love Twisted Plants in Cudahy and stopped for take out often during COVID. The last couple times I noticed the food quality had declined. Ordered the Pineapple Express for takeout today and I am very disappointed. I paid $16 for a small burger. The flavor was okay after I microwaved the burger patty but I couldn’t taste pineapple. On the plus side, my burger was waiting for me when I arrived 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time and the woman at the counter was friendly. Not sure if I’ll return.

If you're vegan and want to have a super naughty cheat day, this is your place!!! Everything I had was delicious: sweet chili fried cauliflower bites with ranch, waffle fries, Friday After Next burger and an oatmilk, carrot cake shake. EVERYTHING is 100% plant-based.

Great place for vegan and dairy free people. We love their food! It is sooooo delicious! You won't be disappointed ! 😋

Ordered through doordash and jesus. christ. So good! I’ve never really eaten vegan or vegetarian but my friend convinced me to try this place and I can’t believe how much it tastes like actual meat without being meat. The flavors and texture are THERE.

I stopped by with a group of friends. Most of us eat meat but we're interested in trying their menu. Everyone was incredibly happy with their meal. I ordered Chik'n tossed in Buffalo. Oh my goodness. As someone who loves chicken, I cannot recommend this dish enough. The buffalo sauce was so perfect, the breading was perfectly crunchy, and the "meat" was incredibly flavorful. I would recommend these over the most normal chicken nuggets. I would love to see some kind of vegan blue cheese dip in sauce on their menu in the future because it would go so well with their buffalo. The food came out very quickly and after you order at the counter. Staff was friendly and quick to wipe down tables after Jess left. They had some flavored lemonades which were also delicious. Even if you are not vegan, I recommend giving the spot a try!
