I was super excited to try the vegetarian/vegan restaurant on state street and it FULLY lived up to all of my expectations. I got the Thai chix wrap, and it was delicious. The “chicken” had a great slightly spicy sauce that gave it great flavor. Don’t be scared off by the menu pictures, the food was truly amazing! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been ordering pizzas from Justveggies for a long time, as they have the best variety with the best quality in Madison for Vegan pizzas. The service is always great. In the event they’re out of something, they’re always prompt to call and offer alternatives. On this occasion I decided to try something different. I couldn’t decide, so based on a different google review, I ordered the Kane’s chicken, some cheese curds (always good) and a dessert. I’ve been telling people for years that a good vegan fried chicken is hard to come by, but: oh my god, this was the best I’ve had in Madison. From the consistency of the faux chicken to the seasoning; even the way it looked in the box was picture perfect. Plus it came with fries and garlic bread. The dessert was phenomenal as well; rich without being too sweet, and oh so flavorful. It’s not often that I’m so impressed with a restaurant in Madison, but to the JustVeggies ownership and staff: I applaud you! Well done and a very well deserved 5 stars. I WILL be back

Been loving their food ever since moving to Madison 4 years ago. I love everything but their pizzas are probably my fave, legitimately some of the best I’ve had in my life… the Parmesan garlic drumsticks are really good too, and I love the cheese curds with the special dipping sauce. My fave sandwich has always been their Parmesan chick’n, so goooood! I love how they always use fresh, high quality ingredients. Chef James is amazing at what he does and is always such a joy to see. I love that it’s a family business too. Nice to see a vegan, black-owned, family business succeed (and State St is no small deal either!). I remember when they were just handing out orders out of a kitchen in an alley with a cool mural; it’s been awesome to watch them grow. Pretty inspiring actually. Congrats to you all. My only critique ever (and it’s small) would be that they need better social media, since reposting the same pics over and over on the feed is a bit annoying to subscribe to or scroll through. It would have better impact and have better reach if it was less cluttered, and if we could see nice shots of each of the different dishes more often. I know seeing pics of dishes I haven’t tried at other restaurants can be very very effective at getting to come in 😅 Just a tip, sorry. Food for thought at least! (Pun intended. I normally hate puns, as I find them a bit corny and cheesy, but couldn’t resist. Sorry for those as well. I really do hate puns for those exact reasons, but never have had an opportunity to do 3 at once! 😆 Lol, I’m cringing at myself for typing this, but maybe it’ll get a smile out of someone reading this review. 😅) 😉 Love y’all, and hope your success continues; blessings to your family! 🙏

We ordered for the first time after just finding out about this restaurant. It was amazing. I am so happy with what we ordered and cannot wait to order different items next time, after how delicious what we ordered tonight was! It is thrilling having options!! Thank you for providing incredible food that doesn’t hurt our animal counterparts. We will support your business 100% going forward after our meal this evening.

The service is fast, friendly and helpful. The space is clean, cozy, and laid back. I got the Kane's Chix fingers and plant based cheese curds. It was all amazing! This meat-eater will be back!
