The Moody Vegan

An exceptional vegan business. The restaurant is small but bustling with energy. The hospitality is in a league of its own from the moment you step in. The owner is incredibly welcoming and seems to really care about her customers. When we ordered the breakfast burrito and chocolate croissant at the counter, she offered to serve the croissant after we were finished with the burrito so that the croissant would be warm and fresh! We had the breakfast burrito. My non-vegan friend called it the best burrito she's ever had. The outer tortilla is toasted to a crisp perfection. The inside is comprised of potatoes, avocado, salsa, and a deliciously creamy sauce. It's served with a creamy avocado sauce on the side. We also had the chocolate croissant. It was delicious, flakey, and perfectly sweet. There is no public restroom. Ask the staff where the nearest restroom is!

If you’re moody, come here because the last thing you’ll be when you leave is moody. The food is fantastic, and the couple who runs it are amazing! They were very attentive and friendly and the vibes were immaculate. I had the shawarma which is one of the best I’ve had. The outside was toasted to a nice crisp, the garlic sauce was creamy and fragrant, and the contents were arranged perfectly (I especially liked the mushrooms). I also had the “Mad Minty Ice Tea” which I can confirm, was mad minty. 🍵 Parking is easy on Sunset Blvd with multiple street parking spots (1 hour). Big fan of the place. I will be back if I’m in the area!

The food was delicious especially the loaded fries and that breakfast burrito. I highly encourage especially being someone who can’t tolerate that impossible patties but I had the burrito with no problems. Highly recommend. The space had a real ambience to it.

Great place. We loved the breakfast burrito. The dipping sauce was very flavorful, the burrito perfectly balanced, all good quality ingredients! Loaded fries were perfect too, great vegan nacho cheese. We tried also gluten-free chocolate cookie and a rare thing called cake shake, which they mix your chosen cake with vegan ice cream, which was exciting. We tried blueberry coffee cake with vanilla ice cream. Loved it all. I'll come back for the cornbread.

This place was fantastic!!! I LOVED my vegan breakfast burrito and my two non vegan friends were also so impressed by everything. The croissant came out fresh with melted chocolate in it too 😋 wish I could’ve stopped by once more on my trip to try their other sweet treats
