Doomie's Home Cookin'

We were looking for some Vegan food near our hotelz and I recognized the Doomies name & logo from the location we had in Toronto. Same food, same menu, and same logo. But the similarities end there. The location in Toronto was clean, organized, welcoming. This spot was far from that. Extremely dirty, unwelcoming, and the food was extremely greasy. We couldn't even sit inside we were so turned off. The cleanliness and organization issues are big, but could be addressed with a few hours of work. Not sure why it is neglected the way it is. Fried Chicken - 9/10 Great taste, crunch and flavor. Fantastic consistency throughout, only gripe was that it was extremely greasy Buffalo Fries - 5/10 Basically inedible because the Buffalo sauce is so salty, and it's pretty much drenched in it. We had a few bites and chucked the rest Buffalo Chicken sandwich - 7/10 This sandwich would have gotten a 10 if it weren't doused with the same salty buffalo sauce. The bun was also drenched in this buffalo sauce oil making it a worse experience. Pulled pork sandwich - 10/10 Fantastic taste, consistency. Absolutely great sandwich.

I come and order from here… A LOT. This is the best vegan food i’ve ever been lucky enough to taste in my life. You get GREAT portions for the price and the food is unbelievable. All my non-vegan friends have been turned onto Doomies and they literally request it everytime we are thinking of where to go eat. I’ve tried a variety of things here and never not LOVED it. Seriously best vegan food in LA… probably in the whole world. My family also requests it everytime they visit LA ❤️

Great vegan chickn! Kind of an interesting hole in the wall, but was worth the LA traffic! The place could be a bit cleaner, I must say.

We were looking for a vegan feed in the Hollywood area and tried Doomies. This place had such a unique, humble, and cool vibe. The food was excellent.

The fact that my husband, who despises vegan food , couldn't put his fork down speaks for itself. Hands down the best vegan food I've had. I definitely recommend the wings.
