Variable Cafe

My favorite vegan restaurant in Los Angeles! The flavors are unparalleled! Every dish is uniquely flavorful, balanced, and delicious! The portion sizes are a great bang for your buck and their service is quick and friendly. I cannot recommend Variable Cafe enough!

We liked everything that we tried here! This is one place where you can come in and eat a lot and still not feel bad because everything is so healthy and fresh! We enjoyed the cauliflower, the tikka masala and the pho was so flavorful! The pricing of each dish is justified given the portion sizes and the good portions of vegetables added to each dish!

I can't say enough about this restaurant, everything was amazing! The owners are lovely and tentative. Food of course was delicious, especially the pasta dish I had, I was full all day! I will definitely be revisiting them!

The Variable Cafe is an act of love offered by owners Plern and Joel and the staff. The food is flavorful, healthy, and made with care, creativity and attention to detail. Most importantly the portions are generous so you are full! I was visiting from San Diego for my birthday and was beyond impressed. If I were local this would be my go to place to dine. Lovely decor and amazing food. I had the sunset smoothie and tofu skewers. Staff is also incredibly inviting and friendly!
