Ben & Esther's Vegan Delicatessen

The food was great! I got there right after they opened so they didn’t have their soups ready. But they kindly gave me broth they had started. I had a knish, a corned beef sandwich with grilled onions, and took home a hot dog, potato salad and peach cobbler for my husband. Everything was perfect. There’s only a little seating outside.

I have been craving a jalapeño bagel, and decided to go for it on Saturday morning. Place was somewhat packed at about 10am, seems like a well known place for their bagels and sandwiches. I ordered a veggie jalapeño sandwich bagel, and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. There are vegan and gluten free options. Menu also offers salads soups, pasta and more, my bagel was a pretty decent size. I enjoyed it very much, bagel was nice and fluffy well stacked. The muffin was really soft and moist not too sweet to my liking, I was tempted to order more sweets but will wait for future visits definitely a place I would come back to.

Absolutely banging bagels and sandwiches!! We’ve been trying more vegan places and this one hits the spot with their food! Will be back asap!

My wife and I are from NY and I was intrigued by a the concept of a vegan-Jewish deli. My wife is vegan and I love Jewish delis, so this was a must-try spot. We ended up eating here three times during our five-day trip. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the RZA sandwich, it is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had, vegan or otherwise. If they ever open a location near NY, we'd probably be going once a week.

Absolutely wonderful. Loved being able to get a variety of vegan sandwiches with a pickle on the side. Classic! I got a BLT with avocado and added extra mayo. So good.
