I had an excellent takeout experience at this restaurant! While I waited, the energy inside was vibrant and welcoming, which made the short wait enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. The kids' burrito was a hit, flavorful and satisfying, and the jalapeño poppers were hands down the best I've ever had—crispy, cheesy, and with just the right amount of kick. The spicy tuna was incredibly tasty, though definitely very spicy, so be ready for some heat! The enchiladas were amazing, bursting with rich, bold flavors. I wasn’t a fan of the calamari, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

The food was fantastic! Really enjoyed everything we had here. The mole sauce was the best I’ve had in a while! The space was clean, relaxing, and spacious. The service was fast and friendly.

This was truly an unexpected find! We were driving down El Cajón blvd looking for a place to eat and noticed the parking availability so we decided to try it. This is a Mexican, Japanese fusion vegetarian restaurant. The place is very clean and spacious not crowded at all. Not sure how long it's been open but I think it would be more full if people knew how good everything is! They used jackfruit and mushrooms in place of meat and it was delicious!! We tried the chimichanga with jackfruit, potato rolled tacos topped with mole and a rice and bean burrito. Everything was really good!! Especially the mole! It was the best joke I've had in a long time! Not too sweet or spicy just made to perfection! We want to go back to try the sushi rolls. They have their own parking lot so that's definitely a plus.

The Village SD offered a great dining experience. My friend has a gluten intolerance and my other friend is vegan. This is the perfect place for them. Generally speaking all the dishes are seasoned well, plentiful, and well plated. Our group ordered sushi, mole, fish tacos, garlic edamame, and the crunch wrap. All were tasty and fresh. The interior of the restaurant is clean, organized and calming. What really made this visit a memorable one was the service. Heather L was our server. She was friendly, communicated clearly, and answered all of our questions. Thank you so much for a great experience! I will be back to try some more great dishes. This is a great spot in the middle of town!

I recently visited The village, had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, full of vibrant flavors. The service was excellent—our server was attentive and even recommended a cacao drink from a nearby coffee shop, which was a fantastic suggestion. Overall, it was a great visit, and I’d definitely return.
