Cafe Sunflower Buckhead

Well I finally made it here for brunch yesterday, for my first visit. The hostess “Dennis” promptly greeted me and sat me. I really like the warm ambiance of the atmosphere, being not too bright. My server “Samantha” gave some nice menu recommendations. I chose the Loaded Breakfast Burrito w/ sweet potato chips & greens, along w/ Cucumber pineapple juice for beverage. The food was served in less than ten minutes! I found it to be very flavorful and delicious! Along with the comfortable atmosphere, I’ll definitely be returning. I highly recommend this restaurant! 😁👍👍🇺🇸

I recently visited Cafe Sunflower, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with cozy seating and beautiful decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. The menu at Cafe Sunflower is a wonderful blend of fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative dishes. Whether you're a vegetarian, vegan, or simply looking for a healthy, flavorful meal, there’s something for everyone. I had the "Meatloaf," pasta, "bacon cheeseburger," and spinach artichoke dip (separate occasions) was nothing short of delicious—perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The coffee was also outstanding—rich, smooth, and the perfect complement to my meal. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the locally-sourced ingredients and the variety of gluten-free and plant-based options. What truly sets Cafe Sunflower apart is the attention to detail and the genuine care the staff puts into creating an enjoyable experience. It's clear they take pride in what they do. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to relax or a place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends, Cafe Sunflower is the perfect choice. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone in the area. It’s a true gem and I can’t wait to return!

I love this place. Jose our server was so nice. Food was great. I’m not a vegan but I loved the food. Spring rolls were great. Wished there were more than four. The ambience was really nice. I had the bacon beyond burger. It was really good. Fries were awesome. I had water and my bill was $25 including tip. Went with friends and they enjoyed their food too. Tons of free parking. Would definitely go back. Cons: I don’t like that their system only allowed to split the bill three ways, so keep than in mind groups of four and up. Also we went for brunch and you can only order from the brunch menu. No exceptions. They close brunch at 3 pm with last order at 2:45 pm and no seating past 2:30. They then reopen at 5. Something to think about.

Food tasted so clean definitely fresh! Proportions were more than enough, amazing music all songs were a relaxing melody, comfortable seating, our server’s energy was amazing just calm. Greeting at the front door was also on point definitely will be back for brunch.

Unfortunately, the brunch menu, while diverse, didn't quite hit the mark for my palate. While the options showcased creative combinations and fresh ingredients, the flavors fell a bit flat, lacking the depth and complexity I crave in a satisfying brunch. I found myself missing the richness and indulgence often associated with traditional brunch dishes. As someone who isn't fully committed to a vegan lifestyle, I struggled to find options that truly tantalized my taste buds. The experience served as a reminder that vegan cuisine, while innovative and commendable, remains an acquired taste that might not satisfy everyone's cravings. If you're a dedicated vegan or open to exploring plant-based fare, Cafe Sunflower offers a variety of choices and a welcoming environment. However, if you're seeking a brunch experience that indulges your senses and caters to a broader range of palates, you might find yourself wanting more. Cafe Sunflower deserves recognition for its commitment to plant-based cuisine and its inviting ambiance. While my personal experience was average, I acknowledge that veganism is a journey, and Cafe Sunflower provides a worthy stop along the way. One more thing I wanted to add was I actually was impressed and excited to try their lunch menu but unfortunately they don't serve the lunch menu on Saturdays and had to only order from their special brunch menu .I will try to revisit them and next time I am around and try their lunch menu on other days.
