What a delicious breakfast place! There are 5 of us and we basically ordered almost all of the menu ;-) I love that they also serve beer and some mixed drinks - it's my favorite for breakfast when I'm on vacation. I had the vegan burger with shiitake mushrooms which was delicious. We had a huge cinnamon roll for the table to share, and truthfully I don't really recall what everyone else ordered, but everyone was happy with their choices.

Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying Sunday brunch at Cafe Reverie on 35th Street in Minneapolis—a 100% plant-based spot that’s perfect for those who embrace a plant-based lifestyle. The experience was refreshing from start to finish. Cafe Reverie delivers a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, where the counter staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. Ordering at the counter was smooth, and they brought my meal right to my table. The food itself was a delight, leaning into natural flavors rather than attempting to mimic meat. As someone who appreciates plant-based dishes that celebrate real ingredients, this approach was spot on. It’s always nice to enjoy a satisfying, flavorful meal that doesn’t rely on “meat-like” alternatives. The menu offers a wide variety for every time of day, from breakfast and brunch to lunch, dinner, and even dessert. Whether you’re craving a hearty brunch or a light lunch, there’s something for every taste. I left feeling completely satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. For those who want plant-based dining that’s both thoughtful and unpretentious, Cafe Reverie is a must-visit.

Food is pricey, but flavorful. Most of the fried food was a bit soggy. I prefer my fried food crunchy. The spicy 'chicken' sandwich was decent and crispy. If the fried stuff was crispy id highly recommend the potato wedges and bulgogi cauli, but the mock duck tacos were spicy and yummy.

My biggest problem with Reverie was that the had far too man interesting dishes on the menu... like what should I order?!? For vegans, this is a beautiful problem to have and I'm here for it :) We started with the Fried Artichoke Hearts, Soup Special Creamy Tomato Bisque and Mojo Smoked Brussels Sprouts. Then finished with the special, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and Korean BBQ Mock Duck Tacos, all WOW! The outside seating area is super fun, with seats in a large courtyard, out front and out back. This would be a great place to have a drink, I had the Minneapolis Mango Habenero Ciders, omg so good. The order system is a tad chaotic but I get the vibe they are going for, tips are not accepted so it's self serve in a sense, which is very cool. Overall we absolutely loved Reverie and this is one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to worldwide.

Tried all three tacos and each one was better than the last. Food was so quick, super fresh and extremely delicious. Staff were very kind and helpful with recommendations. Very cool atmosphere and vibe, great music playlists. Will 100% be back and completely worth the 8 hour drive from Canada. Review edit : came back a month later and tried the brunch. OH MY GOD! The most flavourful combinations I’ve ever had. Ordered the rancheros special and the market hash and could have cried it was so dang delicious !
