✨ Vegan Gem!! ✨ First time visit after hearing lots of great things about this place! Typical diner fare BUT an entire separate vegan menu! What we got: - vegan onion rings: delicious! Massive! Perfectly cooked to crispiness with yummy vegan ranch - vegan breakfast sandwich: tofu scramble, vegan patties & cheese! The bun was fresh. Very filling. Lots of flavor - vegan cheesesteak: massive! Had only half. Seasoned seitan with veggies. Bread was also fresh. This is seriously such a fun spot! It’s so nice to dine in a diner vibe while having a nice selection of vegan stuff! They really have put a lot of time in creating a diverse vegan menu & perfecting the vegan menu items! Seriously, amazing food!

Went here with my lady spur of the moment. Came on a Saturday evening wasn’t busy. The waitress was very friendly and represented the business very well. I ordered the French Onion and it was decent. The cheese was actually the best part. I also gave in and ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. I could not finish it. This dish was something worth coming here for. The bread was like a biscuit. The chicken and vegetables were delicious and had a home made taste. Would come again.

This is the first diner that I’ve been to that doesn’t offer a cup of soup with an order of burgers and fries. Or a pickle and coleslaw. And it would've been nice to get a refill on my coffee. The size of my burger was a pleasant surprise but it was cold. The onions, lettuce, and tomatoes were cool and fresh. The bun was soft and delicious. Fries were hot and crispy but salty. EDITED TO ADD: Any time management takes the time to read and listen to customer feedback and respond in a professional manner, it’s appreciated! I’ll definitely stop by here again if I’m ever in town.

my boyfriend and i always come here since he is non-vegan and i am vegan. it’s a good balance and they have a great menu. i usually get the vegan pancakes and a dessert. amazing options and tracy is a great server! she is always so sweet. i got the chicken parmesan sandwich w/ mozzarella cheese and vegan chx nuggets. 10/10

Colonial is one of our go-to diners because of their vegan menu. This time we weren't so happy. I ordered the vegan crab cakes which were seasoned very well but the texture was a little off but my potato salad, green beans and dessert were delicious and my husband didn't care for his rice and beans but he said he enjoyed the tacos and his dessert as well. I did inform them, so maybe next time we'll enjoy everything.
