I am struggling to describe how great this restaurant is. I have been a regular customer for the last 3 years and cannot believe that I haven't submitted a review earlier. Everytime I go to Sanctuary Bistro, it is a special occasion, despite being a regular evening dinner. The food is simply stunning. I love that menu is changing often and every time is super delicious! I am truly grateful that such an amazing plant based restaurant exists and team is doing fantastic job! Thank you Sanctuary Bistro!

I was so excited to see some of the vegan options in Charlotte! I certainly experienced great customer service. My server was very helpful and even provided me with a list of all of the vegan options in Charlotte, which I thought was so kind and helpful. I had the mushroom oyster inside of the tortilla bc it was good. I wasn’t crazy about the roasted potatoes, but the strawberry cheesecake was good.

We walked out of Sanctuary Bistro after having a three course meal and I was almost in tears… from sheer unadulterated JOY. What an exceptional, delicious, scrumptious vegan and gluten free dining experience. The fried sushi was out of this world. The lion’s mane “steak” was perfectly seasoned & the “egg” on top was nothing short of magical. The tiramisu caused me to say “if I get hit by a bus when we leave here, that’s ok, I can die happy”. The food is 100/10. The service was 10/10. The atmosphere was 10/10 (it is in intimate space). We will most definitely be back.

I love a vegan restaurant that creates dishes that I can't make at home! Get the soup and definitely the fried sushi. The mushroom tacos were also delicious. Their veggies are always so fresh.

Jackfruit cake with green beans, rice and cashew; Socca cake with veggies and a sunny side up golden beet; Scallops; fried sushi, cashew chessecake The avocado toast was a substitute because my niece couldn't have the toast with cashew spread due to an allergy! Her first time, she isn't vegan, and I have been several times...Chef Barry, our waitress Leah and his squad are amazing! He marked items on the menu that he couldn't make nut free due to her allergy. Exceptional service as always. I'll be back tomorrow for brunch, actually.
