The food was really lovely and tasted earthy! I appreciated that they didn’t try to make fake “tastes-like-chicken” dishes and really let the vegetables and pasta speak for themselves. The corn base of the Shiitake dish was the best park.

The service and vibe of this place is 10/10 but unfortunately the food was just okay. My favorite was the focaccia, everything else kind of had a weird taste to it.

Service was absolutely perfect. Dishes came out timely. The cucumber tofu dish was literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I really enjoyed dining here but definitely make reservations in advance. Limited tables and it’s BYOB.

We unfortunately waited a while to decide to come here for the first time. We definitely regret not coming here sooner. We aren’t vegan but just appreciate good food and that’s what Pietramala delivered. Focaccia was amazing. The smoked beets were the star of the night for sure. Nothing disappointed. Will be coming back soon.

My fiance and I are not vegans but we decided to try something a little different for our anniversary dinner. Needless to say, Pietramala blew us away. Their handling of super-fresh produce plus house-produced pickles and preserves led to an amazing meal. I was especially shocked at how good the cashew ricotta was - indistinguishable from the typical variety. Easily one of the best restaurants in Philly, and a must-visit for vegans and omnivores alike.
