Nissi Vegan Méxican Cuisine

Vegans rejoice--this place is not to be missed! The food is decadent and delicious; the portions are generous and shareable. The nachos were out of this world! We can't help but want to go back for more soon...

Very busy and excellent Vegan Mexican place. Very good service and awesome food makes you come again and again. We happened to stop by on our way to Austin and were very glad we found this place. Food is really excellent 👌👌👌, can't give it enough praise even if I tried. The food is flavored with different sauces that give varying tastes to the taste buds. Very well prepared, and arranged to appease the eyes and portions are plenty to fill the tummy. The best way to serve the food. Excellent service with a friendly face makes the place a must visit.

The birria tacos were so flavorful- so happy I got to try the dish as a vegetarian. The taco plate was also very good.

Update 9/4/24: I still really enjoy many of the dishes at this place, but the birria ramen didn't quite hit the spot for me. It might have been the use of spaghetti instead of traditional noodles, and the broth felt a bit thick, making it less like ramen-like. Personally, I wouldn't order that again. However, the al pastor and birria tacos were excellent and lived up to the quality I'm used to from Nissi. I do enjoy the other dishes on the menu and would still recommend this place! As of 1/28/24: Had an absolutely delicious experience at this 100% plant-based vegan restaurant! I've been on the hunt for healthier options due to some health issues, and after getting tired of eating salads at home, I was craving a hearty plant-based flavorful meal. If you're in the mood for healthier Mexican food, this place is a must-try! Every dish we ordered was incredibly fresh and tasty. I could literally smell the freshness as soon as the plate hit the table (especially with the flautas). We went for the chicken tacos plate and the flauta plate, and everything had this distinct, fresh flavor, and texture. Even with the flautas covered in a delicious sauce, they managed to retain the crispiness without it getting soggy. The al pastor and chicken tacos were perfection - the seasoning, texture, and taste were spot-on. The bean side was whipped to perfection as well. Without a doubt, this has become my new favorite spot for fresh Mexican food! Highly recommend! Service was great, and there was ample seating inside. Next time I want to try the birria plate and birria ramen!

Ambiance is good. Woody looking tables . All the tacos are vegetarian so that is freaking amazing. Lots of choices. We had Mexican Coca Cola and Jarritos. The tacos were amazingly good and flavorful. I think pricing could be tweaked a little lower for what you get or they could offer chips or something. I would go again.
