This is a tiny little shop kind of tucked away, but it was easy to find with maps. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They have an AMAZING selection of Vegan and Gluten Free items! Tons of sweets like cookies, cupcakes, scones, everything you can imagine. They also have a case with other vegan items, I got the spicy cashew cheese and it was so good. I'm not vegan but stopped by because a friend LOVES their spice cake and requested it for their birthday. Very good prices too, I expected it to be more so I ended up being able to get a few extras and stay in budget!

Oh boy, one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Our first time ordering with City Cakes was a couple years ago. We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for one of our vegan friends and I loved it so much, and I’m not even vegan. This year, we ordered the same cake flavor and it tasted great! The service was also great as they designed the cake to a picture I sent in. The price was very reasonable as well. Thanks team!

I've been going to the City Cakes in Salt Lake for a really long time and they've been great but I recently moved to West Jordan so I switched to the Midvale location and the last two times I got the cheese sauce, it grew mold way before the expiration date. Never had this problem at the Salt Lake location. I tried to call the manager to see what might be causing this to happen but nobody will return my messages so I'm out $20 and don't want to keep trying to buy more. Huge bummer.

Unfortunately these missed the mark. We got 2 blueberry muffins, cinnamon roll and brownie! The cinnamon roll was stiff and the bb muffins were fair. $20 I’m from the south and Tampa makes them better . JB dough in Tampa ! Delicious

I week before my daughters birthday I ordered a chocolate cake. When I picked it up it was very pretty. After I got home an r we were cutting the cake to eat at wasn't chocolate. Not sure what flavor it was but by that time City Cake was closed until Monday morning. So we just ate what we had. I took a picture of the cake to prove we didn't get chocolate like I ordered. I went into City Cake. Showed my receipt that showed chocolate and the picture proving that I didn't get chocolate. The employee looked for my order and it did show chocolate cake. She gave me a refund for the cake. Still not sure how that could happen. The cake was still good.
