I haven't eaten meat for most of my life. I know that food flavors can be so amazing and still be healthy without animal products. That's why I was so let down with my meal. There wasn't any flavor! I'm so disappointed with this bland meal! It was healthy and there was more than enough food, but the flavor was lacking big time. I spent a lot of money to get this delivered via Uber Eats because I couldn't make it to the restaurant before my trip to Austin came to an end. I just wish I felt like it was worth it, ya know? And I requested a fork and spoon because I'm in a hotel with no utensils and I didn't get it.

This place was awesome! It’s always so great to have vegan options, let alone a 100% vegan place to go to. I love the fixed price and cafeteria concept where everyone gets the same meal. The portions are hefty too! We left full and feeling good, knowing the food we ate was healthy and fresh. The outdoor seating area is cute too.

This is the #1 spot in ATX for health dining and the cost is unmatched. Your two tacos costs as much or more than a complete Casa de Luz meal. I read a comment saying the meal was bland….sounds like that person has fried their taste buds with overly salted, spicy, or sweet garbage their entire life. Just my opinion on such a ridiculous comment. Give it try for yourself. Thank me later.

Couldn't be more impressed, I've gone to the original Casa de Luz for 10+ years and came in for the first time today and was amazed at the quality of the space and food. The watermelon gazpacho was the perfect soup for a warm summer day and the pickled peaches were amazing, no complaints on the salad and mixed veggies either. So thankful to have another healthy option for delicious eats in town, will definitely be back.
