Burger was actually ok taste wise, not sure it was anything like the photos but I think it’s fair to describe it as just “ok” and the photos are a bit of a stretch from what you’re served. Considering it’s in whole foods, it’s pretty convenient but they also have a wide range of grab and go food for less money as this was a little overpriced for what you get…

Next Level Burger has become my new favorite fake fried chicken place. I’m not really a vegetarian that craves much meat, and let’s be honest, am I really even a vegetarian? Anyway, when I DO crave meat, it’s fried chicken. And good golly, miss Molly, do they do a good fake fried chicken sandwich. It is absolutely delicious. It’s crispy and flavorful and warm and has some fun toppings like tempeh and pickles and different sauces. I loved Project Pollo but I guess they were bought and I haven’t seen them. Aside from PP Ive never come across another fake fried chicken place like this. So far my fav has been the limited time honey truffle chicken sandwich - can you keep it for good plz? The price is really high, but if you download their app and respond to their surveys, you can get points. And the points are actually really good - I’ve had a free fry, a free chicken sandwich and also $20 off an order from all the points. So they do add up and help your wallet a bit. Oh and they also do shakes and they’re great too.

6/2023 original post: Super nice employees and thoughtful service, added bonus of being able to support a place with good values that's actually putting money toward good causes. Currently, every NLB location across the country is donating money to a local LGBTQ+ non-profit. I got the avocado cobb salad and thought the vegan bleu cheese dressing was creative. I loved the Cookies n Cream milkshake as well. They actually ended up giving me 2 vouchers for a free milkshake because I had to wait 15-20 minutes for my order (the person before me put in a $700 order and they got super busy) so I'll definitely be going back to redeem those and to try some of their other food options! update: went back the following month to redeem those milkshake vouchers, several of my non-vegan friends got shakes and loved them!

First time visiting Next Level; the only thing off was the location which inside the Whole Foods; a mix atmosphere (I personally give it a 4.5). But don’t let the location fool you; the food is phenomenal. From a meat eater’s perspective, the in-house patty is great, I can call out the vegan beef but it doesn’t bother me. The sweet potato fries are wonderful; salty and sweet; not too oily. The shakes are great; there’s two options of a soy base or coconut base shake which I find wonderful to those with soy sensitivity. THE FRY SAUCE, I personally think is far better than Raising Cane’s sauce. Top of my list. Ordered the SoCal burger for their in-house patty and I have no complaints. Great flavor, light and easily enjoyable; patty itself has complex flavors, again no issues from a meat eater’s perspective. I would like to see a brick and motor store. One critique I have; service was wonderful. Worth the visit.

Super convenient stopping for a burger while I’m grocery shopping. Love that it’s located inside Whole Foods and 100% vegan. I love the mushroom patty the most but it always falls apart. Fries and tator tots are delicious and the shakes are ok. I recommend the peanut butter cup shake
