I did the Autumn tasting menu. It was amazing. It was one of the most creative vegan dining experiences that I have tried. I left feeling so satisfied. The place is small but the atmosphere is so upscale. The service is great. I will be back to try their menu when it changes.

Without a doubt, Fabrik offers the best vegan/vegetarian food in the Austin area. We’ve tried most of the vegan places in Austin but Fabrik is a notch above with its careful ingredient selection and amazing flavors. On the autumn menu, carrot chowder and hay ice cream stood out as our favorites. It is unfortunate that this gem of a place did not get a Michelin but it is every bit deserving to be on the list. Highly recommend this for anyone in the area looking to try elevated plant based cuisine with a carefully crafted menu!

Immediately, you’re welcomed by friendly staff and a warm, cozy candle-lit interior. The staff take any coats and umbrellas to put away and let you settle in before the meal. I already loved the place but it only gets better. I’ve been to many vegan places, and often they either try too hard to imitate meat or miss the mark completely. But this place was simply phenomenal. They truly emphasize the vegetables, allowing their natural flavors to shine by transforming them into tartares, purées, and soups. Each and every dish had ingredients that complement each other rather than clash. The balance between sweetness and savory was spot on, and the textures worked in harmony. Their charcoal pasta, for example, was so divinely flavored, with a soft, bursting interior surrounded by chewy, perfectly cooked pasta. Their starter breads were simply exceptional. The focaccia was the best I’ve ever had, with a crispy, salted exterior, and the rolls were fluffy and buttery with just the hint of sweetness. Both were amazing on their own but also paired with the dips and soups provided. (save some to use through the meal!) Finally, they had incredible desserts and a complimentary non-alcoholic drink that just hit the right spot. This place didn’t rely on imitation—it delivered truly creative dishes that were bold and unique while still being perfectly cohesive.

Our meal was amazing. The food was yummy and the service was perfect: always there when needed but never hovering. We were there for the last week of the autumn menu; I can't wait to comeback to try the winter menu.
